Our founder and head chef, Alessandro Borzone, is an award-winning Italian chef and restaurateur, recognised with the prestigious 2016 English Italian Award for his dedication to authentic Italian cuisine.

Born and raised among the rolling hills of Langhe, near the historic town of Alba in Piedmont, Alessandro discovered his passion for cooking at an early age, learning treasured family recipes from his mother while studying culinary arts.

His professional journey took him through some of Italy's finest restaurants, where he refined his skills before bringing his passion to the UK. In 2005, Alessandro opened his first Italian restaurant in England, fulfilling his dream of sharing genuine Italian food and hospitality with British diners.

Today, every pizza, homemade pasta, seafood, and traditional Italian speciality is prepared using carefully selected ingredients from Italy and the UK, staying true to the authentic flavours that inspired his journey.
